'After spending 25 years in engineering as part of the Royal Navy I left to join my family's building services company. After many years of service making things work, I decided it was time for a change. Throughout my career, I've always had a passion for making people smile and cooking for them always proved a great place to start.
I searched the market looking into many different options, but the one that stood out the most was pizza. Let's be honest, who doesn't like pizza?! It can lend itself to all manner of occasions and the possiblities for variety are limited only our imaginations.
Once the pizza seed had been sowed, I began researching how and where to start. I soon realised that having spent most of my life travelling about, being in a fixed premises wasn't going to be for me, so the logical step was to take pizzas to the people with a mobile wood fired trailer. Fresh ingredients, assembled and cooked to perfection right in front of the customer. Perfect. The Twisted Kitchen was born.'
